A Cafe Dress pattern by Amelie and Henry

I absolutely, positively LOVE this new pattern by Amelie and Henry. This is the Cafe Dress and it is gorgeous!  A few weeks back I was given the opportunity to test for Amelie and Henry and I am so glad I did.

I have been watching Amelie and Henry patterns pop up on my Facebook news feed for awhile now and they always catch my eye.  I love the classic Shirley Temple look to them.

The dress while may look like allot of work was really very simple and easy to sew!  The directions were perfect and easy to read and the pictures completely made sense.  I think my favorite part of the dress is the skirt and how it pleats around the waist.    You can kinda see it in the picture bellow.

The bodice is gorgeous obviously as well : )

I feel like my dress looks so formal but it does not have to be.  I think if you used some fun prints it can be an every day dress.

Here are a few more pictures : )

I am pretty sure this will be Mila's Thanksgiving dress!

Smelling with her mouth : )

All of the fabric is from Joann's.  Want to buy the pattern?  Grab it here for 12m to 6 years or here for 7-14 years.  Did I mention this one has three different sleeve options- Long, short, and ruffled.  Check out the listing and Amelie and Henry on Facebook for lots of inspiration : )  I am now on my second test for Amelie and Henry, and loving that one just as much!  I can't wait to share : )

Thanks for stopping!!!
