Hi, Hi, Hi, sorry... I am a bit of a stinker when it comes to blog posts lately. Well at least on my own blog. I have been pretty busy on Pattern Revolution and hoping to create my own boutique that my blog has really been neglected. But...here I am
today, and very excited to be part of the "Not Just A Sunsuit"Tour for Call Ajaire's pattern the Paneled Sunsuit. The pattern came out this summer and has about a bazillion options. We are blogging, sharing and posting that this pattern is really not just for summer! With the right fabric choices the sunsuit can really be fit for all seasons.
I did change the top slightly, and whoops, this picture above is the back! I did not get one of the front. I guess I just love my little bow : ). I used some pretty crocheted lace as a trim and a blue floral. I hope the linen still gives it a fall feel because the floral is pretty summery. : )
Ok, yes, I still went with the shorts option because I think shorts are the cutest thing to layer for Fall/Winter. I used a completely gorgeous Esexx Linen by Robert Kaufman. I love it! I also loved how this pattern curves. I have never seen a shorts pattern quite like the paneled sunsuit version. The curve makes a slight bubble look.
My silly daughter has been a bit of a scardey cat latley. She seems to be afraid of everything. But not of cicadas apparently! : ) She would not leave the poor bug alone!
Even went as far as kissing him : )
Oh Mila! Please do not kiss the bug!
100% the the fabrics, lace trim and right down to the buttons are are from my friend and bestest Etsy fabric seller Christine! You can find her here
Shoes are from The Children's Place
During the Tour the Paneled Sunsuit is on sale and 15% off, no code needed. You can grab an extra 5% off by joining the Call Ajaire Facebook group here! It is really a great pattern with so many options! Keep following the tour. I bet you will be seeing some pretty amazing stuff : )
