Lily Giggle is Back On
I am an affiliate of Lilly Giggle, this post does contain affiliate links to their shop : )
OMGosh!!!Can you believe this fantastic news! Yes I know I can be a little silly but I am genuinely very excited about the return of Lily Giggle Sewing patterns. I became a big fan many years ago when I first saw the Zinna Dress in a photo on Brownie Goose's Blog (by the way she is another fabulous designer). I purchased the pattern immediatly and I actually did sew it up immediatly! I than began purchasing more and more of the patterns. When I heard the news LilyGiggle would be closing shop I was genuinely sad, sad like when Guns n' Roses split up and. But hey they are back. Not the original GNR, but Lily Giggle! And they are not just back but back with a vengeance. Meaning she has a bunch of new patterns and some revamped old patterns. Anyways, If I would have just started with the photos than I would have had you with that : )
Lets start with the skirt!
Warning...My skirt was at testing stage. There were a

Am I here...On a real blogging tour...Why yes I am! How fun for me! Well actually it makes me a little nervous because the sewing is a whole lot of fun, but when it gets to writing about it...I feel a little silly. I am never sure if I am making any since or sounding like a silly person. So I really hope I do not sound soo silly because this is a pattern I really want to make some since about!

If you have read my blog before or look back through my posts you would certainly notice I am a big fan of Heidi & Finn Patterns. It may have started way back before I had a daughter with my very first PDF pattern purchase, the Perfect Party Dress. I made the dress for a friends daughter and it was a big hit! The pattern was sweet, simple, and absolutely beautiful. I was an immediate fan. Now days I own just about every Heidi & Finn pattern avaiable. Christine's patterns never disappoint, and anyone can sew them up. They are that easy!

Bear Country
I recently had the opportunity to test a few of the new patterns coming out for Willow & Co. Four patterns to be exact! Willow & Co. is a new pattern collaborative that is releasing there first pattern line this spring. The line is called Wanderlust. And can I say each and every pattern is adorable and the designers are not just very talented but also sooo kind. I have had so much fun this last few weeks and am a little sad the testing stage is over. But GEEZ you should see my sewing room. It is time for a good clean up!
I am starting out with the first of the four patterns I tested. This little pattern is just brilliant, and can I say adorable : ). This is the Fawn Lilly Dress/Blouse by Rebecca of Rock The Stitch.

Heidi and Finn Chic Cocktail Swing Coat Test
Wow! That's what I have to say about this jacket!!! It is adorable. Yes, once again and can I say quite excitedly I had the opportunity to test another Heidi & Finn pattern. I saw the post that a pattern test would be coming soon for this jacket and I immediately changed the settings on my phone to notification ON so that I would not miss out on the opportunity to test. Hooray, and it paid off because here I am again showing you photos of one of my new favorite patterns.
I sewed this one up in red velvet. The lining is flannel. Can I tell you that velvet must be the most difficult fabric to sew EVER! It slipped and slid everywhere. I read that you should maybe hand stitch before actually machine stitching. I was not up to that so I just really went slow.

Some pretty little pintucks
Ahh, I am a few hours late on posting this. Yay, I got to test another Heidi & Finn pattern!!! The pattern was just released this morning and oh isn't it darling! I can promise I will be making a few of these every season for Mila. It is so sweet and simple. The pattern is great with solid fabrics and just as great for showing off the cuteness of some of those printed fabrics. I can't wait to try linen with this pattern. Here is a link to purchase the pattern for yourself : )

Keeping a secret
Mila and I have been keeping a little secret over here. I had the opportunity to test again : ). This test was a top secret mission for Heidi & Finn, an entry for the Designers Challenge a competition by Pattern Revolution. We as testers were asked to create a dress samples unseen. Well I personally had no fear that the outcome would be adorable. I own many of the Heidi and Finn patterns and there are many more I plan to purchase. Everyone of Christine's patterns are beautyfull. Just as I had suspected this pattern was just as adorable!

A test for Figgy
I was soooo happy to get the opportunity to test a pattern for Figgy. I have been a big fan since I had first seen the SCIROCCO Pattern. What a pretty dress and I just loved how the back had that cute twist. Figgys pattern are so modern but still sweet and easy to read. She is another one of those pattern designers whom seam to teach you a new sewing lesson with each pattern purchase. To be honest I have just been dyeing to test a pattern!!! I have a hard time coming up with something to sew or just seem to have to many ideas of what I would like to sew but never seem to get any of my ideas completed. Contests and pattern testing seem to keep me on a straigt line-and I get the project done. Well, enough about me.
Lets talk about this new pattern. It's called the Celestial Pullover.
